More Tips to Survive the Winter in Burnsville

Now that the coldest and snowiest months have settled in Burnsville, we thought we'd offer more ways you can get your Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, or Jeep brand vehicle prepared. (Find our first winter prep post here.)

  • Routinely check the antifreeze level in your coolant reservoir. If necessary, top it off with a 50/50 mixture of water and antifreeze.
  • Keep an emergency kit in your vehicle in case you get stranded in the winter. Pack it with extra warm clothing (coat, hats, gloves, etc.), blankets, emergency gear (flares, flashlight and batteries, car phone charger, etc.), kitty litter and shovel to help gain traction, and snacks.
  • Driving on snowy roads with summer tires or bald tires could lead to dangerous situations while handling. Get a new set of winter tires, which are specifically designed to perform in winter driving conditions.

Need some new winter tires? Find the right set for your vehicle in our Tire Center. And when it comes time to mount and balance them onto your vehicle, trust the expert service technicians in the Mopar Service Center at Park Chrysler Jeep. We'll have you ready to take on the wintery roads in Minneapolis, Saint Paul, Eden Prairie, and Edina in no time. Don't forget to regularly check our rotating Service Specials for your chance to save.

Happy winter driving!
